A Tribute to My Mom

You were the first to know me;


The first to love me.

You are the only one who's been there;

Always.

You are my advocate, my friend;

Anchor in strong winds.

You taught me;

Coached me;

Challenged and opposed me.

You are the essence of who I am;

The woman I hope to be.

You are my mom.

I love you.

Thank you for loving me.
